In this first album of a more specifically religious nature, BlessTree sheds light on the extraordinary relationship between the Blessed Virgin Mary and her chaste spouse, St. Joseph. Bruce Balestri continues to bring life and warmth to his subject matter with his distinctive vocal style and his daughter, Avellina Balestri, joins him in carrying on the family tradition of faith through song. Patrick Colgan, music maestro, choir director, and audio engineer, accompanies them with melodious harmonies and contemplative background music. This set includes traditional Marian devotionals such as "Star of the Sea", “Mother at Your Feet is Kneeling”, and “Mother Dearest, Mother Fairest”, Latin hymns such as “O Sanctissima” and “Schubert’s Ave Maria”, and songs in honor of St. Joseph such as “St. Joseph, Husband of Mary” and “Dear Guardian of Mary.” This album is dedicated to all laypeople, married couples, parents, and teachers who work to pass on the faith to their children and students through the love they share with them.
